The Public Interest Transportation Forum site has posted a PDF and article detailing their assertion that because Proposition One renews a sales tax implemented in 1996 that could have been “partially rolled back after ten years by voters” it means a doubling of the existing tax. The article does not provide the ability to comment, so we’d love to see people provide their opinions of this assertion here.

against this November's $17.8 billion Roads and Transit package which includes $10 billion for 50 new miles of
